Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitue spiritualis ianua) and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: “Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the world.” (CCC #1213)

BAPTISM OF INFANTS (Under Seven Years of Age):

  • To register your child for Baptism, please come into the Rectory at least two months prior to the desired baptismal date.Baptism%20Pools%20Image[1]
  • If you are not a registered parishioner at St. John Chrysostom Parish but you wish to baptize your child here please provide a permission letter from your Parish.
