The goal of celebrating the Mass for a Quinceañera is to celebrate the Catholic faith the young lady is already living. This means that she Is baptized, has received her first communion and attends regularly to Mass every weekend. If your daughter is not yet baptized or if she has not received First Communion, she will need to do it, before you schedule your Quinceañera Mass. Please do plan and register now, for sacramental preparation classes, which have a duration of at least two years.

1. Quinceaños Masses in this parish take place on every Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. (The only exception to this is when a Saturday falls on a liturgical feast that does not permit this Mass. In this case the Mass is moved to another Saturday.)

Requirements

• The young lady and her family must be registered parishioners here at St. John Chrysostom. (Being active at SJC at least 1 year prior to reserving the date.)

• If the young lady is not already Confirmed, she should be enrolled in the parish Confirmation Program and should provide proof of her registration.

Registration

1. Arrangements must be made with at least 4 months in anticipation. The young lady and her parents must come in to the parish office complete the necessary registration form and give the required deposit

The following are REQUIRED when booking the date:

            a. Baptismal Certificate

            b. First Holy Communion Certificate

            d. The deposit ($200.00)

The offering to the parish covers the expenses of operating and maintaining the parish buildings and activities.  It includes 2 altar servers and the coordinator. The music is provided by our parish Music Director, No outside music is allowed like mariachi or other choirs.

El objetivo de la celebración de la Misa para una Quinceañera es celebrar la fe católica que una joven ya está viviendo. Esto significa que ella está bautizada, ha recibido su primera comunión y asiste regularmente a Misa cada fin de semana. Si su hija no está aún bautizada o si no ha recibido su Primera Comunión, ella necesitará hacerlo, antes de programar su Misa de Quinceañera. Por favor, haga planes por adelantado y regístrela ahora, para las clases de preparación sacramentales, las cuales tienen una duración de almenos, dos años.

1. La Misa de Quinceaños en esta parroquia toma lugar todo los sábados del mes a las 9:30 a.m. (Las únicas excepciones a esto es cuando el sábado cae en una fiesta litúrgica que no permite esta Misa. En ese caso se cambiará para el proximo sábado.)

Requerimientos

• La jovencita y su familia deben ser miembros de la Parroquia de San Juan Crisóstomo, y vivir dentro del área parroquial, o inscrita aquí. (Estar activo aqui en San Juan al menos 1 año antes de reservar la fecha).

• Si la jovencita no ha sido confirmada todavía, ella debe estar inscribida en el Programa de Confirmación Parroquial y debe presentar prueba de su inscripción.

Registración

Arreglos deben hacerse con al menos 4 meses de anticipación. La joven y sus padres deben venir a la oficina de la parroquia y completar el formulario de inscripción necesaria y dar el depósito requerido.

Se requiere lo siguiente en el día de registracion:

1. Certificado Bautismal
2. Certificado de Primera Comunión.
3. Certificado de Confirmación (si ya ha sido confirmada) o Comprobante de inscripción de confirmación del 1er y 2do año pagada en su totalidad.                                        Haga clic aquí para obtener información de confirmación
4. El deposito de ($200.00)

La ofrenda a la parroquia cubre los gastos de operar y mantener los edificios parroquiales y las actividades.  También incluye 2 monaguillos y la coordinadora.  La música se provee por nuestro Director de Música, NO se permite otro tipo de musica como el mariachi o otros coros.
